Convoy of hope
Founded in 1994, this faith-based non-profit organization serves millions of people around the world that are in need including the U.S. According to the organization, more than 46 million of people are being served through their various program initiatives. Currently, more than 95,000 children are participating in their feeding initiatives in countries such as Haiti, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Honduras, Kenya, Nicaragua and the Philippines.
Areas of service: Disaster Response in rebuilding and distributing clothing and medical aid, Feeding Initiatives (nutrition, clean drinking water, instruction on agricultural techniques and education, and healthy living environments), Community Outreach, Partner Resourcing, Water purification systems and water wells.
